| EU report - road safety is everyone's business |

The European Commission's European Road Safety Day, which takes place on April 27th, is part of the effort to save 25,000 lives across the EU every year by 2010. Some contries have a death toll of 3 times higher than others - Although there has been undeniable progress on the manufactiuring side, European Commissioner for Transport Jacques Barrott says that we have to increase our efforts.
