With the wide-spread availability of digital radio networks including GSM, 3G, GPRS, TETRA (Airwave), Tetrapol and Mobitex the uses of In-vehicle Computers, such as the M-PC2, are growing rapidly. Thousands of Microbus computers are installed across the UK and Europe in Emergency Service vehicles as well as in Taxis and Public Utility vehicles. Microbus is an ISO9001 certified company whose products are built and tested to the highest standards. Microbus only uses PC boards that are designed and manufactured in-house. The In-vehicle Computers are independently tested and certified to meet the European legal requirement of "e-mark", the UN’s “E-mark” and the UK National Police Improvement Agency’s AES5 issue 10.
