Brake launches its Road Safety Library
Library aims to help organisations develop and deliver interventions to prevent deaths and injuries on roads.

Road safety charity Brake has launched its Road Safety Library, aimed at professionals working in road safety around the world.

The purpose of the library is to share research and best practice, helping organisations develop and deliver effective interventions to prevent deaths and injuries on roads, with information available on a wide variety of topics, from driver distraction to fleet safety.

The three main sections of the site will focus on  a research library full of up to date research, data and reports on a range of road safety topics, important and innovative road safety initiatives by governments, including international case studies and education schemes from various agencies worldwide.

Julie Townsend, deputy chief executive at Brake, said: "It’s so important to share research, information and best practice so we’re learning from one another and we’re well informed about what’s likely to be the best approach in tackling different issues."

"The Road Safety Library is an easy to use, free resource that professionals can use to access a broad range of information – helping them to be as effective as possible in preventing road deaths and injuries."
