Numbers of mobile camera offences and hand-held speed gun offences also shown
Northamptonshire Police have released statistics of safety camera offences during 2010.
The data includes a break down of the number of offences at each fixed site camera location, as well as the numbers of mobile camera offences and hand-held speed gun offences.
Geddington North was shown to have the most people attend speed awareness courses, with 1753. 1,373 accepted a fixed penalty and 258 were referred for prosecution.
Speeding incidents in Farthinghoe saw 975 people attending speed awareness courses, 516 accepting a fixed penalty and 86 referred for prosecution.
Northamptonshire Casualty Reduction Partnership was disbanded earlier this year, following the withdrawal of the government specific grant for road safety, which provided the vast majority of the funding for the partnership.
Chief inspector Sean Bell said: "We welcome the opportunity to release this information and increase transparency about the number of offences at safety camera locations throughout the county."
"We remain committed to reducing road casualties and have set up a new safer roads police team to concentrate on the targeted use of mobile safety cameras across the county."
